Trang An is the most famous tourist destination of Ninh Binh today. With beautiful pristine natural scenery, in June 2014, Trang An is recognized by UNESCO as a natural and cultural heritage of the world. Located in the southwest of Ninh Binh city, Thung Nham eco-tourism park is in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district. Thung Nham is surrounded by tropical jungle, with many valleys and caves. Dong Chuong Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. The lake is located among the pine hills and has a perimeter of nearly 8 km. Surrounding the lake are pine shingles that create a fresh and romantic space between mountains and forests.
