Bai Ngang – the islet in Kim Son coastal, was recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve. The area has about 200 species of birds, including 60 migratory birds, more than 50 species of birds. Many rare species are listed in the world's red book such as black-faced spoonbill, gull, little egret… Currently, this place is lesser-known by tourists.

Located in the southwest of Ninh Binh city, Thung Nham eco-tourism park is in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district. Thung Nham is surrounded by tropical jungle, with many valleys and caves. Dong Chuong Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. The lake is located among the pine hills and has a perimeter of nearly 8 km. Surrounding the lake are pine shingles that create a fresh and romantic space between mountains and forests.
